I’ve been working as a designer and director since 1999 — self-employed, self-educated ▲ with occasional guidance from a few brilliant people.

Along the way, I worked for agencies that managed to squeeze everything out of me while making a lot of money on my back. They treated people like temporary resources, not human beings. I learned a lot there: how not to treat human beings ;-). And avoid to work for or with douche-bags.  

I started my own one-man studio in 2006—which was actually successful and a lot of fun—until I moved to Switzerland in 2018 to see how the big ones play the game.

For the past eight years, I’m at Wirz in Zurich Switzerland, working as a Design Director, Senior Brand Designer, Design Lead, Art Director, Graphic Designer and—somehow—the AI Lead. Call it multidisciplinary. Or call it “doing the job of five people while being labeled and payed as one.” Depends on the project—edit: ’til March 2026, then I’m done at Wirz.

My experience ranges from enterprise giants to tiny neighborhood coffee shops. Now I’m launching ● made on mondays — my little desk-studio for small businesses, startups, cultural institutions, artists, and music labels that deserve high-quality design without bullshit.
